4GB and 8GB models now available
Available now, Transcend's T.sonic 850 comes in two flavours, a 4GB model in Ivory colour, and an 8GB model in Onyx Black. The models retail at €79 (approximately £60) and €100 (approximately £75) respectively.
Measuring in at 81.5mm x 41.5mm x 12.7mm and weighing a reasonable 48g, the T.sonic 850 is compact and lightweight. It doesn't skimp on features mind you, and packs a 1.8" 176x220 pixel TFT-LCD screen for viewing your photos and videos whilst on the move.
It'll support all the usual media formats (JPG, BMP, MTV, MP3, WMA, DRM10, and WAV) and provides a customisable equaliser, something that Microsoft's new Zune surprisingly doesn't. Once charged fully, Transcend claim the T.sonic 850 will give you a considerable 22 hours of continuous playback, if you have the screen saver set to blank of course.
