Microsoft wins battle of Valentine MP3 Players
The two big names in the MP3 player market at arguably Apple and Microsoft. Well, tell a lie, the big name is Apple and its iPod, Microsoft and its Zune are a distant, distant second.
However, though that battle is as one sided as could be, another battle has began this week: the battle for the ultimate Valentine's MP3 player.
In the red corner, Microsoft's red heart-coloured edition of the 80GB Zune, complete with free love-themed engravings from Zune Originals:
In the pink corner, Apple's pink coloured edition of its 8GB iPod Nano, complete with free text engraving:
The winner, undoubtedly the Microsoft Zune. It's certainly the smarter looking of the two, and in my estimation, the preferred Valentine music player of 2008.
That is of course unless you live outside of the US where neither of these players are currently available. Looks like we'll be sticking to chocolates and flowers in the UK.
