Indy trailer officially rocks!

I've been waiting for it to appear on the official website later today, but with this being one of my most anticipated movies of the year, I couldn't help but watch the poor quality leaked version provided by ahorahollywood.com.

Needless to say however, I'm glad I did! Check out this jaw-dropping trailer below:

First impressions? The trailer couldn't be better. Though it shows moments of modern-day slightly over-the-top action scenes, it retains the classic Indiana Jones feel of old. Some CGI work is clearly apparent, but it doesn't distract and despite the added effects, it still looks and feels like Indy.

Better yet, it still has the humour we come to expect from our favourite whip-wielding hero. I had my doubts about Indiana Jones IV, it has been so long since The Last Crusade, I did wonder if the series should be resurrected. Having seen this trailer however, I'm glad Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be hitting theatres this year. I can't wait!

High quality versions of the trailer will be available at some point today on the official movie website, IndianaJones.com.

*UPDATE*

A better quality stream of the trailer is now available at IndianaJones.com and high definition versions are available at Yahoo Movies.

This has to be my movie of the year, I hope it doesn't disappoint!
I love the trailer and can't wait for the movie, but I still think The Dark Knight is my most anticipated film.

I did a top 10 must see over here: HEXUS.lifestyle - Article :: 10 must see movies of 2008 : Page - 1/2

Though, what was I thinking putting AvPR on the list? :angst:
