T-shirts plastered with rude and offensive messages aren't anything new in today's world. But the T-Sketch t-shirt developed by Thumbs Up UK could take things to a whole new level.

According to Thumbs Up UK, "the ingenious new T-sketch t-shirt features an amazing new technological development - whatever you write or draw on it will be converted into an illuminated message or design!"

T-Sketch t-shirt

Yep, it's true. Well, not the so-called amazing technological development, that's just gibberish, but the fact that you can indeed write your own messages on the T-Sketch t-shirt.

Once you've finished your message or work of art, the panel emits a small glowing light to make your illustration truly stand out. Better yet, or maybe worse, you can change the backlight from a little glow to a headache-causing pulsing strobe.

Thumbs Up UK states that the t-shirt is "perfect for nights-out clubbing, as well as being a great attention-grabber, you can also use it to write people’s telephone numbers on too!"

If that's the market being targeted, expect chavs around the country to be proudly displaying whatever slur springs to mind right across their chests. Oh the joy.

Fortunately, the t-shirt is out of stock and listed as "available from 21st April 2008". Though, that could mean there's already thousands out there...

Official press release: Let your message or artwork shine – literally – with the T-Sketch from Thumbs Up!
