It's true, women are getting geekier

Just yesterday we were telling our male readers to "watch out, they might look cute and harmless but they're taking over slowly but surely..."

Well, don't say we didn't warn you as today, Yahoo has launched its new women-based web portal, Shine.

The site, viewable online at shine.yahoo.com, focusses on the daily life of women. It covers a range of categories such as Entertainment, Healthy Living, Fashion, Beauty, Love, Sex and more.

Yahoo states it "wanted to create a smart, dynamic place for women to gather, get info and to connect with each other and the world around them."

The female staff at Shine make it clear that what you won't find on the website is "advice on how to please your man". Sorry guys, we're out of luck on this one.

Solutions Research Group's recent report seems to be proving true, women are getting geekier by the day. Here at HEXUS, we think its great that our female friends are joining us both online and in technology. The ladies of Shine are a welcome addition to the web.
