Never get caught in a shower again

Ever looked at your watch hoping to find the weather forecast but only to be presented with the time? Well, never again.

Oregon Scientific, manufacturer of smart clocks and home weather stations, has just the device for weather enthusiasts - the Meteo Weather Forecast Watch.

Meteo, pictured above, is no match for the F1/Carbon in terms of aesthetics, but it does boast the ability to measure barometric pressure trends and display the upcoming weather conditions in the next 12 to 24 hours.

Its features, as listed by Oregon Scientific, are as follows:

  • Weather forecast using 4 weather icons: sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy and rainy
  • Stopwatch function up to 60 hours
  • Digital Clock, calendar and alarm functions
  • Backlight function for easy viewing in low light conditions
  • Water resistant up to 30 metres (98 feet)
  • One CR2032 3V battery (included)

The watch seems a little too simple to be entirely accurate, but if you really want to avoid the prospect of being caught in a shower, Meteo is available for £39.99.
