PC World today announced the roll-out of its 'Get Connected' service to stores nationwide.

The service, which PC World states has been developed "in response to increasing customer demand for broadband connectivity between technologies", gives customers the ability to purchase mobile, broadband or digital TV packages alongside hardware products.

The service has launched with no shortage of special offers. Free laptops are available from the likes of Sony, Dell, Toshiba, Compaq, Acer, ASUS and Advent - when purchased with select mobile broadband tariffs, of course. If your desired laptop isn't available for free, there's up to Ā£450 off of PC World's entire range.

Mobile broadband isn't restricted to hardware purchases, either. It can be bought as a standalone product and PC World offers mobile broadband plans from Vodefone, T-Mobile and 3. In addition, Home Broadband and Digital TV packages are available via Virgin Media, BT and Sky.

The offer of complete connectivity solutions in-store isn't a new concept and has already proved popular for the likes of Carphone Warehouse. PC World will hoping to replicate similar success with "Free Laptop" offers that aren't entirely free when you've discovered associated costs.
