Introduction

Scythe's Kama Bay Speaker is a 1.5W + 1.5W stereo speaker that slots into any PC's existing 5.25in drive bay. When we first laid our eyes on it, we weren't entirely sure what to think. Is it just a gimmick, or can it actually become a useful addition to an everyday PC?

Scythe markets the £15 device as a "space-saving" solution that offers "powerful sound from 4 speakers", and although powerful might be pushing the boat out, it's certainly space-saving..
