16 years in the making

Some of us are bored of Google Chrome already. Or perhaps just bored of the hype. It is, after all, just a webkit browser with a clean interface and a fast JavaScript interpreter.

There's talk of Chrome being the new 'killer browser'. Talk of it being to the browser market what the iPod is to MP3 players. We've heard rumours of Mozilla developers laying down their keyboards in protest, refusing to do any more coding, yelling "what's the damn point?". Word has it the fat lady's ready to sing at Opera, and chairs are being firmly secured to the floors in Redmond as Ballmer turns a very troubling shade of red.

But they ain't seen nothing yet.

When presented with the 'killer browser' claim, we thought to ourselves 'really?'. We set out to prove the believers wrong, and after searching the deepest, darkest corners of the Internet, we think we have found something that will change the way we browse forever.

It's been lurking for close to two decades, prowling, biding its time. It's not the product of some greenhorn maverick like Google. No sir, this beast came from Kansas.
