We'd all like to get our hands on Sonos' feature-packed wireless multi-room music system, but if you're looking for a cheap-and-cheerful solution, how about Sitecom's WL-060 Wireless Audio Transmitter?

This little device does exactly what it says - it transmits audio, without wires. Plug the USB stick into your PC or notebook, and attach the audio transmitter to your stereo equipment and it'll sync itself instantly, allowing you to beam your music up to a range of 50 metres.

It's completely plug and play, and Sitecom tells us it'll deliver "CD-quality music". The transmitter also features a very useful headphone socket, so, in theory, a user could sellotape the unit to their arm and walk around with somewhat-wireless headphones. We're not sure how well the signal will hold up whilst on the move, though.

The WL-060 is supplied with a 10-year warranty and is available now for €59.99.

I'm looking for something like this. I'd ideally like something that's NOT battery operated (or CAN be used via mains), though.

I think I can infer from your comments that this needs batteries, but wasn't sure.

Can you clarify, please. Thanks.

(In case I get picked up for late replies, I've only just seen this from Sitecom's website; but they don't “link” to you. Seems a shame.)
