In addition to its array of highly-regarded computer peripherals, Logitech seems to be doing a bit of a Belkin by rolling out accessories that cover every scenario.

Yesterday it was customised ID Grips for its G9 Laser Mouse, and today it's the Comfort Lapdesk - the latest notebook accessory to promise workstation comfort in bed, on the couch, or anywhere.

The Comfort Lapdesk, pictured below, consists of a four-layer, heat-shielding design that's padded on the bottom to provide comfort whilst keeping a notebook's heated underside away from the body.

The arched base means less contact with the legs, and improved air flow, says Logitech. It claims that 60 per cent of people who use a notebook at home do so on the couch, and some resort to using a pillow or book to shield themselves from the heat. If that sounds like you, this could be the ideal solution.

On top is a non-slip glossy finish and the 12-degree angle is said to position a notebook of up to 17in at the ideal height.

Looks a pretty sexy solution, we reckon, and it'll arrive at stores in January with a suggested retail price of $39.99.
