What do you get if you cross a digital watch with a mobile phone? And no, there's not a rude joke in there.

The rather pragmatic answer is a watch-phone (or should that be phone-watch?), according to LG, and it showcased the GD910 at this year's CES show.

As you can see, it really does look like a watch, sitting just 14mm high, but includes cutting-edge features such as HSDPA for data transfers of up to 7.2Mbps - perfect for a bit of video teleconferencing via the built-in camera, huh?

The touch-screen display, below the curved, tempered glass, appears to be pretty easy to use and it has all the usual phone features you would expect, including Bluetooth, voice commands, camera (obviously), music playing and speaker.

The show models weighed around 75g and, worryingly, only had a two-hour battery life.

For once, Europe will get it before the States, so if you see someone walking down Sloane Square in London and whispering sweet nothings to their 'watch', perhaps it's the LG watch-phone.

What's not known is the price and exactly when it will be released, but would you consider buying one and what would be the right price for it? Love to hear your thoughts.
