Companies: Orange (All Orange content)
After being deluged with dreary economic news week after week, even the most optimistic of folk now reckon that a recession is not just on its way; it's right on top of us. That's why little chinks of light such as Orange Wednesdays are all the more appreciated.
Orange, though, has cottoned-on to the fact that it probably needs to do more to keep present customers in today's rapidly-deteriorating economic climate, so it's announced that the Orange Wednesday promotion will now extend to a two-for-one meal at Pizza Express, too.
Available to contract, PAYG, and broadband customers until the end of August, according to the Grauniad, the six-month offer hopes to fill your belly and entertain you in the same night. Presumably, 241 customers will be able to download a voucher to take advantage of the cheap nosh at Pizza Express.
Wow, this means I can take my girlfriend out for a meal and watch a movie for just over a tenner: result!

Express isn't that good, i think they pay their staff too little and get such low quality, but that might just be the ones round me/work.
The ones up with me are good. They are also a damned sight better than Hut. You are also less likely to have screaming kids running about. The last time I was in a Pizza Hut, I was astounded there are so few mass shootings in the UK, the staff looked about ready to flip and the whole place had an air of desperation to it. Grented this was a sinday night in Dundee where the vast bulk of customers were single dads taking their kids for a "treat" before handing them back to their mother for another week/month.
I've never been so glad to get bak into the car and continue driving south.Quote
Agree Express is better than hut, but myself and the missus are http://www.zerodegrees.co.uk/ fans (have one down the road). Would recommend them if lucky enough to live near any of the 4 outlets. Amazing wood fired pizza's (and beer) :)Quote
