Good news for Mac users who can't live without their BlackBerry, as RIM has announced that its BlackBerry Desktop Manager will be coming to Mac in September.
Coming on the upcoming release, RIM's handheld software product management team states that the Mac-specific Desktop Manager has been in development for a while and will finally answer the call of Mac users who've traditionally been left out in terms of BlackBerry software support.
That's all set to change in September as BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac will support sync for iTunes playlists, calendars, contacts, notes and tasks. It'll provide Mac users with the ability to add/remove applications, update device software, backup and restore device data, as well as the option to manage multiple devices.
We're told the software will support Mac OS 10.5.5 and above, and users can sign up to be notified when the software becomes available by visiting blackberry.com/mac.
