Having announced that LG's touchscreen watchphone - the GD910 - would arrive at its UK stores in August, mobile operator Orange is now taking the time to show off the gadget by serving up a video demonstration of a watch-based video call.

The "handcrafted" and "exclusively limited" device still has no suggested retail price, but the idea of a watch phone is as cool as ever. Check it out in the video clip below.

Plenty of cool factor, we reckon, but once that wears off, is it much more than a bulky watch that does video calls with poor image quality and seemingly lacklustre sound? That remains to be seen, but gadget aficionados will be able to pick one up next month on Orange pay as you go.

Lol, it may go on the wrist but it's still the size of a phone. You'd look a right twat wearing that :)
It is bog, but probably no bigger than many Breitlings :)

Its really annoying having to hear someone else's speakerphone conversations.
Doomed, Doomed i tell ya. Rather have a Breitling on my wrist than an LG.
