Consumer electronics powerhouse Best Buy is having a bank holiday sale with 20 percent off almost all its goods for four days.

The sale runs from 27 August to 30 August, with the discount applying to all regular and special offer prices.

"We've kept exceptions to just the iPhone 4, iPad, contracts, subscriptions, services and mobile pre-pay top-ups," the firm said.

While the company has over 1,150 stores scattered across the globe it is relatively new to the UK marketplace and is busy opening superstores across the country.

Unfortunately customers cannot purchase their electrical goods online at present and will have to visit one of three stores, located in: Merry Hill in the West Midlands, Southampton and Thurrock, Essex to take advantage of the sale.

However, Best Buy's UK presence is rumoured to expand, with 200 stores reportedly planned eventually including a shiny central London flagship store. It is also predicted to try and consolidate its UK standing by looking into buying the parent companies of Comet, Currys and PC World.

sounds great
Just popped into southampton store - quite disappionting….

Only bargains where games consoles, western digital hdtv live box for ~£72 and two blu-rays for ~£17.

The cheapest profile 2 blu-ray player was £170+20% off. I can get profile 2 blu-ray players for ~£100 online. No USB 3.0 HDs either…

NOTE: Didn't check TV's, Mobiles, complete PCs or mp3 players.
lol not bad but do they stock decent stuff?

Yes but limited ranges - I was looking for a printer. They had decent models (and with 20% were competitive) but my local Tesco has a larger range.
