TrekStor claims it's selling the world's most expensive MP3 player - the i.Beat organix Gold. This, it says, was produced initially to meet an order from Alex Shnaider, the Russian-Canadian billionaire owner of the Midland Formula 1 team but is now available to anyone with funds to buy one.

And how much would that be, exactly? Well, just at the moment, the company isn't telling what its player costs, so we don't even know if it really is the most expensive available. And that also means we don't know whether to order up a bunch for team.HEXUS or instead opt for a hatful of Presidentials - Douglas J's Ā£25,000 model.

What the German outfit does say, though, is that the custom-made player that Shnaider opted for - based on the company's multi-award-winning i.Beat organix model would you believe? - has a case cast in 18 carat gold and encrusted with 63 one-carat diamonds. Oh, and it reckons that the player is "also embellished with a small chain that includes aquamarine gems".

Of course, it could turn out that our decision doesn't rest on price alone. A more specialised bling factor may come into play. The Presidential, for instance, offers a selection of white or yellow gold for its exterior and a choice of diamond arrangements from the company's Hansel&Gretel range (really, that's what the site says!).

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Care to help us with them by offering your advice in the HEXUS.community?

these ppl should be stoned to death for their extravagant lifestyle.. :P
I had a good close up look at this product at CeBIT, but unfortunately they wouldn't take it out of the case. Very extravagant indeed.
Considering that thousands die everyday of hunger and war its great to see some people focus their grip on reality :angst:
