The Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity is making the next generation of DVB-T reception possible. The handy TV stick can be connected easily to your laptop or PC using a 2.0 USB port and makes it possible for you to watch TV on your computer without the need for extra wires and cables. When the Diversity function is switched on, signals from both antennas combine to create a new, improved signal. This makes it possible to achieve clearer reception in most fringe reception areas without the need for a house antenna. Watching TV while traveling is also possible, which is ideal when traveling by train or with children in the back seat of your car. When the Diversity function is not activated, both tuners can be used. This makes it possible to record one program while simultaneously watching another.

In Diversity mode, the signals picked up by the two provided rod antennas combine to form a new, improved signal. If the strength of the signal you are receiving is already sufficient, the provided Terratec Home Cinema TV software deactivates the Diversity mode, instantly making two tuners available in one device. Now you can receive two programs at the same time - or you can watch one program while recording another.
Convenient functions
Whether in Diversity mode or Dual-tuner mode, the Terratec Home Cinema software always offers a full range of convenient functions. In addition to familiar features, such as timeshifting TV programs, an electronic program guide (EPG) and a digital video recorder, our system provides new applications that will quickly become features you cannot live without. For example, you can scan through current television listings via remote programming over the Internet, and you can program the system to record with just a click of the mouse. In addition, the TerraTec Home Cinema can also access the established tvtv.de service - a year's subscription is included in the purchase price. The computer boots up from standby or sleep mode precisely when the chosen television show begins and then saves it on your hard drive automatically.
