Materials and colours found in the natural world, have proven to be aninspiration for the designers behind Sony Ericsson's latest cellular phone range.

A stainless steel finish, together with scratch-proof mineral glass grace the new T650, whilst the second release of the range, being the S500, features desktop and menu themes which change over time, alike to the seasons of the year or as precise as day turning to night.

Inspiration from Nordic light, as well as nature, has been captured by Sony Ericsson's designers in the form of these two new phones which, Sony Ericsson believe, have created products that are alive with energy and beautiful to look at.

The T650, being a 3G handset, is housed in a 12.5mm slim chassis, features a 1.9 inch display and comes feature complete with a 3.2 megapixel camera, together with a media player.

Bluetooth 2.0 compatibility, picture messaging (MMS) support, video calling support and a flight mode are just some of the high functionality features being touted.

Being offered in two colour options, Glowing Green or Midnight Blue, this model will be available in selected markets, from Q3 2007.

The S500 takes the form of a 2.5G slider phone, housed in a 14mm slim chassis.

Sony Ericssons's music management software, Disc2Phone, allows for users to transfer music from their PC to their cellular phone or even transfer images from PC to phone. When connected to a PC via the USB protocol, as both models support USB and USB Mass Storage, the S500 appears as a drive allowing for simple operations.

Bluetooth 2.0 support is also part of the S500's repertoire, as is a 2.0 megapixel camera.

Available in two colour options, Mysterious Green or Spring Yellow, the S500 will be available in selected markets from Q2 2007.
