Logitech aims to redefine the humble keyboard

Logitech, purveyor of quality HIDs, today announced its contoured wave-shaped keyboard that's a perfect fit for your fingers, apparently.

Logitech has implemented what it terms a constant curve design in its Wave keyboard that should lead to a more comfortable typing position. We've seen this kind of ergonomics before but Logitech doesn't split the keyboard into two sections, a la Microsoft.

There's the usual gamut of easy-access buttons, designed for Windows Vista, but no built-in USB hub. Pricing is yet to be confirmed on the standalone corded model.

Logitech is also rolling out a cordless model that's bundled in with a Logitech LX8 cordless mouse. £64.99 and it's all yours.

You can feast your eyes on the press release right over here.

hmmmm….
I have a Microsoft Natural Multimedia keyboard and I love it (except for F-lock - who the hell decided the F keys needed remapping? Leave my f-ing f-keys alone you f-lock!). I wouldn't like an ‘ergonomic’ keyboard where my hands are closer together. :\

Also, I have an Acer laptop like Madduck has shown… makes no bloomin' difference. In fact it's a horrific keyboard because they moved the backslash to the right of the forward slash key, so it's on completely the wrong side of the keyboard! o_O
