Sky has today confirmed the next four Premier League fixtures to be shown on its recently-unveiled Sky 3D channel.

Making the most of a fiercely contested title run in, Sky 3D will be showing games featuring Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal in the coming weeks - including one stand-out fixture, the Manchester derby on Saturday April 17th.

Sky's confirmed 3D fixtures are:

  • Sun 11 April - Blackburn Rovers v Manchester United
  • Wed 14 April - Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal
  • Sat 17 April - Manchester City v Manchester United
  • Sun 25 April - Chelsea v Stoke City

The fixtures will follow in the footsteps of the world's first live 3D football match between Arsenal and Manchester United and last weekend's high-profile clash between Manchester United and Chelsea by being shown at over 1,000 pubs across the country.

Sky will be hoping its campaign at the nation's pubs will help build 3D momentum ahead of a scheduled launch of 3D programming to its Sky+HD customers later this year.
